Each graph is controlled a set of parameters. Some frequently used options can be modified from the Format pull down menu. The GraphPar panel from the Options pull down menu contains all the parameters.
To rotate a 3D cloud plot, either turn the automatic Rotate On from View pull down menu, or make the graph the only graph and use the bottom scroll bar for azimuth and the right scroll bar for dip. A plane may be fit to the cloud plot, using the Linear Fit option from the Tools pull down menu, and the viewing direction will be automatically changed to the strike direction of the plane.
For PDF and CDF plots, the Dykstra Parsons Coefficient (DPC) can be added from the Tools pull down menu, and the number of data points will also be shown.
For graphs with multiple objects, in order to modify the appearance of an object, first select that object to be the Active Object (mid lower left of panel), then modify the display options (mid lower left and right of panel). To turn off an object, select the Not Show option for Object Display.
The modified settings for a graph can be Saved from the GraphPar then Read back later. Different files are used to save settings for different types of graph and each project saves its own set of files. To read saved settings from another project, with the intended graph active, go to FindFile panel from the File pull down menu, select GraphPar files to list, select the file, then click the ReadPar button.
To customize a graph, a macro file can be prepared for each type of graph.
To produce a picture to put into other software, such as MS Powerpoint, you can print a Windows Metafile or a CGM Metafile and then Insert the picture into MS Powerpoint or MS Word.
