Adding and Removing Data

To add data to a project, go to the FindFile panel from the File pull down menu, select the data file, then use one of the Add options. Adding To DataFile means merging the two data files. Adding To Data means adding the data into memory without changing the files. Use Save As from the File pull down menu to save the change to file. Adding To FanSection means adding wells along the fan section only, limited by the Side Distance (see FanSection panel from Options pull down menu). Adding To Wells means adding data to same location as existing wells only, limited by the Side Distance also. If Rename option is included, the existing data will be rename to the same name as the first trace and the added data named 2nd.

To change data names, go to the Data&Units panel from Options pull down menu, select a name to change to, and change the names. The changes are not saved to file until explicitly saved.

To remove wells from a project, select the wells to be kept through Pick Well or Pick Box from the Select option on the left of DataQC panel, go to Save As and check Save Selected Wells, then click OK.

To remove wells from loaded data without affecting the data file (until Saved explicitly), select the wells from basemap or one of the cloud plots then use the Remove Selected option from the Remove option on the left of DataQC panel.

To remove data by data name, use the Remove by Name option from the Remove option on the left of DataQC panel
